I became a teacher because I wanted to help people understand what they need to learn. And to help the next generation grow into the people they are meant to be.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience are my daily interactions with my students. I enjoy the bits and jokes that we have such as "I put the wit in witalec" and students seeing if they are taller than me. Saying sentences in other languages to have them pause and relisten. Using tiktok and modern slang in the classroom at critical moments to encurage them to engage in a task. My students bring a smile to my face everyday. And I like to think I do the same.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would like to pay for my graduate school classes and possibly find an apartment close to the school I work at. Currently I live with my parents an hour (or more depending on traffic) away from school. If I was closer to the building I would be more engaged and active in the school community.
