From a young age, I felt a calling to education. Growing up, I was captivated by my teachers' ability to inspire and ignite curiosity in their students. It was as if I was always destined for this path. My passion for sharing knowledge blossomed into a desire to empower others through learning. Each moment spent helping others understand complex concepts solidified my commitment to teaching. I believe it's my mission to create a nurturing environment where students can thrive, just as my teacher

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

In an inspiring project, I guided my 5th grade students in building a cube satellite and coding it to conduct weather experiments. This hands-on experience not only ignited their curiosity about space and technology but also empowered them to challenge the notion that such projects are only for big cities. Working together, we designed, constructed, and programmed the satellite, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills. The excitement and pride in their eyes as they launched their creation

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were to win $25,000, I would seize the opportunity to return to school and earn a PhD in Educational Technology. This achievement would make me the first doctor in my family, a milestone filled with pride and inspiration. With my knowledge and experiences, I aim to uplift our South Central rural Pennsylvania school, introducing innovative ideas and enriching opportunities for our students. This degree would not only transform my life but also significantly change the trajectory of my family
