I became a teacher because I loved learning and want to be a lifelong learner alongside today's youth. I love seeing students grow through staying in the struggle and trying new ideas. I know that the students of today have so much to offer. I have so much to gain by working and engaging with them in the education process. It is a chance to change a student's day to let them know I appreciate them being in the class with me.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceSo many memorable teaching moments. My most memorable experience was when I got to take a small group of 6th-grade students to an Air Show at the local Air Force base. An experience most of the students would not have been able to participate in. The students had the chance to see some amazing STEM exhibits and participate in the show that was happening while they were walking around the base. When we were leaving the students all stated that it was the best day.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to pay off debts and invest in my future. And plan an amazing trip with my family to Alaska.
