I became a teacher because I was a struggling student in elementary and i never gave up because I had amazing supportive teachers. I want to be able to be the reason that someone never gives up and remembers that I encouraged them to become who they want to be by installing values I have learned through the years. I want to be the change!

Honestly throughout the years I have experienced so many great memorable moments but the one that sticks out would be, my first year teaching I had a struggling reader and she told me her goal was to become a better reader, by encouraging her to read every night little by little, showing her books she would have never chose by the end or the year she came up to me and said I can read, because I worked on it everyday like you said too!! I knew then I was in the right field.

I would put the $25,000 into beautifying the school as well as bringing programs for our students to experience something they will always remember. From starting to add a sensory hallway while, while creating varies Murals throughout the school. I would want to bring In a planetarium to guest speakers for where out students can experience something hands on and never forget.
