I've always wanted to be a teacher. I remember my favorite pastime game with my younger sisters was to play school in our bedroom however I decided to become a special education teacher once my youngest brother, was born with down syndrome. I had the opportunity to volunteer a few times while he was attending elementary school, which sparked interest for me in the area of special education.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceA memorable experience is when students went from nonverbal to speaking in complete sentences and being able to advocate for themselves.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love a trip to Hawaii with my family, but I would also love to pay off school loans that I'm still working on paying off. After paying off School bones, whatever remaining money I have, I would use to pay off my car by me, not having these Bills would give me extra money to spend in my classroom..
