I love teaching because it makes a difference in a child’s life. I get to see the students grow and learn

I have always been around children with special needs. I also had a nephew that had special needs. He was murdered at the age of two and a half. I live working with him and in the short years he lived watching him do things the doctors did not believe he would do. I wanted to help other children achieve goals and strive to do things in school. The academic don’t come easy to some so I wanted to show them with a little help they could improve their learning.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student with a trac and feeding tube that others did not think he could do very much. We worked hard and he learn to read by placing words to complete a sentence. He learned to count by placing sticks to match Numbers and write the first letter in his name. He was just 7 years old st the time.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would buy some sensory items for my students. So when they get frustrated tge could come to my room to calm down either sensory item.
