Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of our young children in today's world. I wanted to be a positive influence and even be a role model that my students can look up to and that they can always depend on. I want children to know that learning is a fun experience and every chance I get I draw my students into my lessons by being creative in an animated way.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I had a student in my class that was identified with having social and speech delays. Every morning I set up a space in my room with things I knew that he liked because everyday he would come in crying. When he came in one morning he was about to cry but then saw what I did for him and didn't cry, instead he took his coat off and sat on the bean bag chair with all the things that were placed around it, looked up at me and smiled. What would you do with the $25,000?

I'm always a mom first with that being said I would definitely help out my two sons financially and purchase educational materials for my seven grandchildren. Last but not the least, I would treat my student's with new things for our classroom.
