I had been working in a school for several years as a librarian and on the intervention team. I had many opportunities to substitute in classes and coach tor the volleyball and basketball teams. I enjoyed being in the class and my peers and administration encouraged me to pursue a teaching degree. I was excited and eager to have my very own classroom.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moment was when a group of students I had coached in middle school, were in their Senior year. During their end of year sports banquet, they mentioned me as someone that influenced them. That’s a humbling moment. I’m glad to be a small part of their journey.
