Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student in first grade who had some emotional problems. He and I bonded and he made real progress that year. As he progressed through elementary school, I was his mentor and checked in with him. In 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade he would come down and read to my students while they were waiting for the bus at the end of the day. This was the same student who claimed he couldn’t read at the beginning of first grade! I was so proud of him when he moved on to middle school!
What would you do with the $25,000?As a single mom, I would pay off some debt and save the rest for my son’s college fund.
