Register NowMiddle school is a challenging period for many students. I recall the educators with whom I formed strong connections and how their support significantly enhanced my experience during that time. My aspiration has always been to provide similar guidance and support to young adolescents. Despite the difficulties associated with this developmental stage, I take great pleasure in building relationships with my students and fostering a welcoming and nurturing environment.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experiences as a teacher often occur outside the classroom, particularly during field trips. Chaperoning multiple excursions, especially to Washington DC, stands out as my favorite time spent with students. I value real-world experiences beyond the classroom, as they are among the best ways to learn.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use these funds towards investing in the education of my children and enhancing our home. My husband is an electrician, and I am a teacher; we strive diligently to provide for our two children, Mackenzie (4) and Frankie (3). It is my aspiration to make meaningful improvements to our living space and create lasting memories for our family.
