I became a teacher because I was inspired by a high school language teacher who always motivated and encouraged me to be better. I have always enjoyed the school environment as well and love learning new things and sharing knowledge.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceIt's hard to choose just one memorable experience, every day we have those unique moments when our students learn something new and use it. I believe that what is memorable for me is seeing my students learn to speak a new language (I teach Portuguese to American students), and learn to understand, celebrate, respect and appreciate diversity.
What would you do with the $25,000?I want to pursue my Masters Degree, so I would use it for that purpose. Keep learning!
