I actually fell into teaching. Once I did, however, I never looked back. Teaching is a calling, and when you’re called it becomes far more than a way to make a living.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceSitting next to a student who was crying and offering a tissue and a chocolate, and being willing to listen. Later finding out that they had become so despondent they were thinking of committing suicide, and that sitting next to them that day in my class changed the direction of their life.
