I became a teacher to help inspire others and to turn around the "I hate math!" or "I am not good at math!" mentality. I had a good mentor relationship with my teachers growing up and I wanted to continue that trend with future generations. I want to be able to show students the "why" of math and not just the "how".
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experiences in teaching have been when students see me in public or come visit my classroom and tell me how much they now love math and where they use it everyday in their life just because of my class.
What would you do with the $25,000?The first thing I would do with $25,000 is pay off my debt. The next thing I would do would be put some away towards my children's education. Lastly, I would take a nice relaxing family vacation.
