Tell us why you became a teacher

I became an Educator, to help students grow academically, emotionally, and physically. I love rewarding my students and putting a smile on their faces. I really enjoy the opportunity to connect with the students and their families. When parents are feeling nervous, I reassure them my class is a safe place. I am a committed teacher who will give them the necessary skills/tools to be successful.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was during my early years of teaching Middle school. A student set the bathroom trash can on fire. I had to unfortunately contact the parents and explain the situation.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I win the 25,000 I would give back to all my students, I would plan a big Bar-B-Q. having fun and games. Rewarding my students for supporting me, and letting them know just how much I care/support them. This event would also be a graduation party, with gift cards for College.
