I became a teacher to be an advocate for children and help develop them educationally. It’s amazing to see small minds grow but there are so many forces against them. I love to speak up for my students and allow them to develop their own opinion while learning!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience came when I had taught a lesson for 3 days. Students were not grasping the concept. I found two other ways to try. The 3rd way one student exclaimed he understood, gave me accolades for continuing to try to teach and then informed I should have done that lesson first!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to receive the award! I would pay off my daughter’s tuition and invest for retirement! Maybe take a small vacation with my family!
