Being able to give back to the community where I grew up makes this work even more meaningful. I take pride in shaping the next generation, providing them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to achieve their goals. Teaching allows me to make a lasting impact, not only in the classroom but also in the lives of my students and the community as a whole.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable moment as a teacher was witnessing our students’ incredible reactions after our school won its first-ever state championship in football in 2018. Seeing their excitement, pride, and pure joy was an unforgettable experience that truly highlighted the impact of teamwork, dedication, and school spirit.

What would you do with the $25,000?

“If I won $25,000, I’d first make sure my family is taken care of—whether that means saving for the future, covering important expenses, or creating experiences we’ll always cherish. But giving back has always been important to me, so I’d also look for ways to support my students and community.
