I love teaching because it saved my life. I adore children and it is the most rewarding job I have ever done in my life

I became a teacher because I knew I wanted to leave my mark on this world. It has been the most uplifting aspect of my life since I am always on my toes. The children I teach, really teach me because they are so creative and inspiring. This is what drives me to be the best version of myself for my future. I always loved other kids growing up, I was a big people pleaser, friendly and very extroverted. Teaching is what I do best and I would never take it for granted. I am forever grateful for it.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when my first year, when I helped my kindergarten class prepare for grade one in May/June. It was very emotional knowing they would be going into the first grade and officially starting their grades 1-8 journey. To see how much kids can grow in just a year is the reason I love teaching so much because it represents how your hard work and efforts really pay off with helping kids learn. This was memorable for me because it was my first year!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money to help my family out with medical bills, and donate to charity. I love to give back to the community that helped raise me and shape me into the women and teacher I am today.
