I've been working with kids since I was 13, and I always knew that I wanted to build them up, and watch them grow. When I started my education to become a teacher, I became really interested in how learning develops, and what strategies help support student learning and development. I wanted to help children grow, and be their cheerleader.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my students came to my class saying "I'm hard headed, I'm never going to learn" and that student I poured into, celebrated his growth even if it was just a little bit, and when he visited my class they following year as a 5th grader, he told me about how he was getting B's and A's. And I have never been more proud then to see how he grew!
What would you do with the $25,000?Part of it I would put towards my classroom, make sure my kids have books to take home, or enough school supplies. The other part I would put towards getting a house for me and my fianceé
