Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I had a friend who believed that I could not only teach but be able to shared my knowledge and experience of Healthcare to both adults and high school students. She believed that I had the ability to engage students and to encourage them to be more productive int he Health field.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching moment is when O teach Anatomy in Clay to my students. I have a 12 inch specialised maniken when I demonstrate when the different types of muscles are and I get to build them on the maniken using clay. The most memorable part about this is that the students can be loud and distracted but once we start building the muscles, heart, blood vessels and other systems their is a calm and peaceful silence.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would like to spend part of it paying for my so 's education as he wants to attend university to become an oral surgeon, donate money for HOSA: The future Heath organisation at the school for students to spend on workshops and field trip and put some money towards the State HOSA Leadership program to provide further leadership workshops for the students in Oklahoma.
