I love teaching because I get to build meaningful relationships with students and make learning engaging, creative, and relevant to them!

I became a teacher because I believe in the power of stories, relationships, and creative learning. I want to inspire students, help them find their voices, and show them that education can be engaging, meaningful, and even fun.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was when my students took a quiz to determine their Hogwarts houses. Seeing their excitement, debates, and connections to literature made the lesson so much more engaging. It reminded me why I prioritize creative, relationship-driven learning—when students feel connected, they thrive.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would pay off my student loans, relieving financial stress and allowing me to fully focus on my students. With more financial freedom, I could invest in classroom resources, engaging books, and creative learning tools that make education more meaningful. It would also help me continue growing as an educator, bringing innovative strategies into my classroom to better support all learners.
