I love seeing my students achieve things they didn’t think they could and I love to be the one helping and encouraging them.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI teach in a classroom of students who are affected by autism spectrum disorder. Typically children don’t notice each other or play with each other without adult facilitation, but recently several of my students have started playing together cooperatively and it warms my heart beyond measure.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest in a better play area for my students and add more learning toys and equipment to our class. I would also make sure we had plenty of appropriate and healthy fresh snacks for the students year round.
