I love teaching because nothing beats the face of a child when the lightbulb turns on and they have that A-ha moment as they learn something

Learn MoreI became a teacher because I love helping children learn new things. Whether it’s academically, socially, or emotionally. Helping them discover things about the world around them and themselves.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are many but my most memorable was helping a young girl who was smart but shy and lacked confidence in her abilities, by guiding her and giving her the support to do her best. This led to her getting great grades and even giving a speech to her graduating class at the end of the year.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay my bills and I would also try to bring in some new equipment and supplies to my school’s afterschool robotics program which I also teach.
