I was inspired by my Beautiful Mom and My Beautiful Son to teach. I saw how my mother’s love for her students helped to transform their lives for the better. My Son Garrett is my World!! I always taught him that as a Conway man…our mission is to help and bless others with our talents and time. I always loved giving back to my community. I teach because I love my students. I want to prepare, protect, pray for them and provide them with the knowledge and confidence to be successful.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable experience was when I helped one of my students raise his GPA from a 1.6 to a consistent 3.0 GPA when he was in the 10th grade. We met my first year when he was in the grade. I taught him that regardless of what others may have thought about him being a “troubled” child, that he was extremely intelligent and could accomplish anything that he wanted to do in life. I gave him confidence and he is in college today.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I am blessed to receive the $25,000, I would $20,000 donation to my current high school to help provide more resources for our students. They are wonderful students and THEY DESERVE IT.
