When I was in daycare as a kid, I always liked to help out with the younger kids. As I got older, I continued to feel drawn towards acting as a role model in sports and academics. Being able to help kids achieve their fullest potential both academically and socially drove me to teach.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moment was probably going to one of my student’s flag football games last fall. When I walked into the game, I was swarmed by so many different kids screaming my name and hugging. That made me realize how important I am to my students.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would probably use it to pay off student loans and save a little for my first house.
