Tell us why you became a teacher

I love to help people. Teaching others is the best feeling in the world. It allows me to show my students that we are only limited by ourselves.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I met a student that didn’t want to be in my class. He yelled at me and told he my class was stupid. I had him sit in the back. At the end of class he said might come tomorrow. He never missed a day and at the end of 6 months he went from reading 4-5 sight words to reading at a 6th grade level.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would remodel my workshop into a place where I could teach hands on skills.
