Being a professional musician was wonderful but creating the memories and developing the newer generation and love for music has been my passion! Being able to see and hear the daily growth is inspiring in the classroom and I hope to continue that for years to come.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceDuring my first years as a teacher I was given a trip that had no real direction, had little confidence, and basic skills that were a struggle for all the students. As the year progressed on their love for music and the love for the comradeship and growth was so substantial their ability to perform and take home their first championship trophy was monumental. The years of joy and acceptance was empowering. I'll never forget that and I hope that they will always share their experiences as well.
What would you do with the $25,000?Be able to help my family get into a better financial situation as our family grows. Every penny counts and possibly get my private music studio finally up and running after all these years. That would be amazing.
