I became a teacher so that I could dedicate my time and efforts to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I have always loved lifitng others up and leading them towards success. I became a teacher to help students learn in a safe environment that they are capable to succeed with hard work and dedication. I also enjoy creating new, engaging experiences for students to learn from.

My most memorable moment in my teaching experience so far actually came this year. It was a normal day and I had pulled out the microscopes for students to look uner (we were learning about cells). As students came in to my classroom they began to cheer and got so excited to see the microscopes set out. To me, it was just another day in science. To them, though, they were getting to see things they had never actually seen with their own eye! I realized that is why I do what I do!

First, I would set some of the money aside for my toddler into a fund for him to use after he graduates from high school. I would then use the money to purchase much needed materials for my classroom and grade-level team like pencils, kleenex, and hand santizer. I would also use some money to purchase nice microscopes for classroom use. I would love ones that hook up to a computer so we can make the image much larger. Finally, I would give the money to my church to use for local missions.
