Learn MoreI have had many job hats over the years and by far being a special education teacher has been the most rewarding, challenging and purposeful. We are a mod/sev beh class Every day is different in my classroom. I have the joy of working with the same students for up to 8 years. I believe every child can learn and I am here to help make these students be the best they can be, by challenging each one with IEP goals that make them think and work hard to achieve their goals.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have had so many memorable moments to choose from. I have a moment with each Child. The relationships that I have built with the students and the parents have been the best ones. I think having a parent who has had nothing but subpar teaching, and not working with the behaviors that come with their students with special needs, tells me that they see improvement in all areas of their child's life and truly say I have made a difference.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would fix my car, replace my carport and take some more classes to continue to enrich my students.
