Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to make learning fun and exciting for all students. School was hard for me and my goal was to make it better for kids like me. I wanted to find inspiring ways to make learning creative and interesting.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was when I did project based learning, and started my school year with nothing set up. The 2nd grade students were able to identify how the room should be set up for the most optimal learning experiences. They also decided what was needed on the walls and what kind of job jobs and behavior management system we were going to use.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to go back to school and get my doctorate which would finish off my career in a position where I can make the most difference, at the top!
