It was by chance I started off as a tutor in the classroom while my children had still been in school. Slowly I moved into different roles throughout the school. I was given the opportunity to take over a class.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy first year teaching I received a horrible observation! I bombed it! I was about to just walk away when I decided to prove that I was where I was supposed to to be doing exactly what I was supposed to be doing. A few weeks later administration came back and my observation was amazing. So much so it had only been a few months after that I had won Beginning Teacher of the year award for the District. They showed up to present me with the nomination I had been dressed in full llama costume
What would you do with the $25,000?This part is easy most probably want to go on vacation. Or fix something. I am struggling. This past year my husband ended up in the ER twice. He is suffering from neurological issues causing him to not be able to work . We have 4 children and I am trying to survive on a teachers salary. We are at this point one paycheck away from being homeless. I cannot pay his medical care or our bills.
