Honestly, one of my most memorable teaching experiences happened fairly recently. We were reading ‘Wind in the Willows’. Through the read-aloud portion, as we started working on a character portrayal, one of my students declared, “I know what I want to do when I grow up! I want to be an author!” I was so moved and excited by their genuine interest and enthusiasm from the text.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to take my husband and children on a family vacation to South Carolina or the giant redwoods in Northern California.
