Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhile teaching third grade science I would create hands-on stations to help students understand mixture and solutions. Students would try to separate items using tools to determine in what category the substance belonged. Watching them discover and problem solve through the different stations was thrilling. The students realizing that testing doesn't have to be scary and nerve racking allowed them to actively participate and have fun while
What would you do with the $25,000?I would purchase some additional supplies for my classroom so that I may continue and improve many of my hands-on lessons. I would plan a field trip for my students to be able to experience nearby caverns that is cost prohibitive for most of our students and I would also expand my classroom library to get more materials in the hands of students.
