I love teaching because I have fun with my students everyday! I am full of energy and excitement and it becomes contagious to my scholars!

I became a teacher because when I was in college I wanted a profession where I could somehow make the world a better place. Cliche as it sounds I felt if I had a job that I enjoyed spreading positivity somehow my occupation would stay meaningful everyday. At the time I wanted to better the world through art and my dad suggested adding teaching onto my major. When I started student teaching I knew I found my vocation. I educate 4th graders now, and the world is a little better every day!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have memorable teaching experiences everyday. What makes being a teacher different is experiencing pride and confidence WITH your students when they master a new skill! Or quiet moments when one to one you see something click and they “get it” those are the most memorable moments for me!
What would you do with the $25,000?Pay off some of my remaining student loans from when I graduated in 2009.
