It's all about relationships over rigor. Teaching allows me the opportunity to form meaningful connections with the future of our world. 🩷

Register NowSince elementary school, I dreamt of being a teacher. I set up a classroom in the spare bedroom in my childhood home, complete with a chalkboard, planning book and a list of 20 fabricated student names. I have always found joy in making connections with others and truly believe that I can make a difference each day I work with my students.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was during my first 3 years of teaching when I had the opportunity to teach in an inclusive class with students of varying ability. One student in particular that required a 1:1 TA and could have been world language exempt, soared in my class and truly grew as a Spanish student and as an individual. He brought so much joy to each class and years later, still warms my heart to have had the chance to have him as my student.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the 25,000 dollars to pay for a home project. We would love to remodel our kitchen.
