Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to inspire others to have a love for learning. I have always loved seeing the awe and wonder in my student's eyes and how excited they are walking into my class. I know every day is a new day and a day for me to have the opportunity to change a life! I care my student's in my heart forever.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was moving to 5th grade to teach only science. I got to see first hand was happens when students love a subject, they flourish. Together we experienced a lot of firsts, my kiddos were so patient and understanding. It was the first year I put on our 5th grade science fair, the students projects were amazing. I've never been more proud of them. They worked hard and learned a lot.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000 I would put it towards my boy's college fund. I would also use it to help with the hands on activities we do in my science class.
