Register NowI became a teacher because I love children and the joy they bring. Watching children learn and grow, gives me such pleasure. Seeing their faces when they figure something out is priceless.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI think the most memorable thing about teaching for me was when a student finally learned to write their name. I had been working with them on their pencil grip for months. I started out by having them trace over a highlighted written name. Then I moved to a dotted name. Finally they did it by themselves. So rewarding!
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000.00, I would go back to school and get my Master's Degree. I will be 49 years old in October, and I want to teach for the rest of my life. I would also help my daughter get her degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
