I love the connections and seeing them get it when they do. I love knowing they can walk out of my class capable of anything.

I started off working in the severe ID students classroom at the elementary school as a teaching assistant. I did that while I worked on my bachelors degree to become a teacher. I love what I do and I love being able to see my students progress and learn and have those a-ha moments. I love showing them that they can be whatever they set their minds to and that they are not limited to their demographics. Or negative mindsets.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience has to be seen the freshman. I taught my very first year, teaching all the way through four years of high school watching them grow watching them graduate and watching them become amazing adults. Then, knowing I had a tiny part in their life, and even if I didn't make the biggest impact, I was blessed enough to see them grow up.
What would you do with the $25,000?I work for a title one school so I would use the money to help my school. I would most likely split the money with my department and we would use it to buy the things that our department needs to help. Our students be successful things that we typically don't get money for things that we typically don't get a lot of just basic supplies for some of us book sets for others and it would be based on what we need.
