Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWorking with at-risk youths are among the memorable moments in teaching. Students that demonstrate challenging behaviors learn they are enough speaks volume. The joy on students' faces because they did well academically priceless. For example, a struggle student was able to read the science content material and apply the concept in real-world applications.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would you the funds to setup a nonprofit that supports students and parents. Some of the funds will be used to advocate for the education at-risk (disabled, behaviorally challenged, etc.) youths. I would also purchase some instructional materials for my classroom. Finally, I would treat myself to a spa day.
