Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I am a very nurturing and patient person. I just love seeing students grow and overcome challenges, which can be deeply rewarding. Most importantly, I want to be that person that impacts students lives and shape their future.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was last semester fall of 2024. I had never had a foreign non-verbal student and I thought to myself "how could I ever help this poor child learn?" After teaching daily and giving him the support he needed, one day I heard for the very first time the sound of a letter coming out of his mouth. After that he was starting to show fingers instead of saying the numbers. My students would praised him every time and seeing him striving made me proud.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would want to thank GOD first if I ever win the 25,000 because only he knows the dedication and love I have for my babies. In all of my teaching years he has blessed me with wonderful students and if I do win I would help my family, buy amazing stuff for my students and pay a part towards my mortgage with that money.
