Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to make a positive impact on the lives of children, to share the knowledge and passion of math. I enjoy working with children, and I see the direct results of helping them learn and grow. I have a unique opportunity to directly influence and guide students' development, fostering their learning and personal growth. I find joy in interacting with and supporting young people, creating a positive learning environment.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Memorable moments for me is when students finally understand a difficult concept in math example Distributive Property of Additon, often accompanied by visible expressions of realization. Receiving heartfelt thank-you notes, messages expressing gratitude for the impact I made in their lives.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Invest in school supplies for my classroom so my students do not need to purchase them. I work in an urban area where parents struggle and students cannot afford school supplies or uniforms.
