Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because when I moved to the United States from Argentina I had a terrible experience and vouched to do better for my students and create a safe learning environment that I wished I had. I also had the privilege of having amazing teachers who made me fall in love with learning and I wanted to be that for many students.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was when years after my preschoolers graduated, they messaged me using their parents Facebook page thanking me for being their favorite teacher.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 as a down payment to a house that I have been wanting and longing for my family for many years. I would love to provide my son with our own house until he goes off to College and my plan is to become a foster Mom and help as many kids as possible have a loving home, even if it’s temporary.
