My journey to teaching started in 2nd grade with Mrs. Doucet. She moved up with us to 5th and 8th grade. Mrs. Doucet sparked my love of learning! Fast forward to Spring Hill College. Dr. Alfieri and Father Rodriguez, S.J. were two teachers who encouraged me to pursue Spanish! All of my favorite teachers made an impact on me beyond the classroom and inspired me to do the same!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceTaking students around the world has had the biggest impact on my teaching. Watching my students apply their Spanish and use it to connect with others has inspired me to bring the world to my classroom!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would create a travel scholarship with my school to sponsor students who would not be able to travel otherwise. Every student should be able to see the world!
