Tell us why you became a teacher

The most precious person for me who helps me realize and guide me to becoming a great teacher is my mother who always keep on telling me that I should finish my studies and do not be like her since she does not even went to high school herself then she will be happy seeing me a fulfilled my dream. The second valuable person is my grade one teacher who is my model and I am so delighted and look up to her skills and techniques on how she managed our class with diverse kind of learners.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I have been handling children with different kind of exceptionalities for more than two decades and would still be happy to see their small and great success even for another two decades if given an opportunity I am more than willing to continue the struggles of helping them to become a better individual of our society. I am overwhelmed with the fact that some of my students have reached the secondary level and even graduated in college through parents and teachers untiring love and support.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I will definitely have it in equal proportion of four. First part is for my five children. Second part is for the special students in the Philippines. Third part is for the church in my hometown and the fourth portion is for myself and my spouse to have a simple things we needed and served as a notable remembrance of this wonderful grace and blessings I received.
