Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching moments was when I organized a cross-curricular, three-day art project with the Art and Spanish departments, followed by a field trip for 225 art students. Seeing students fully engaged, making connections between subjects, and creating meaningful artwork was incredibly rewarding. With $25,000, I would enhance innovation and personalized learning by investing in classroom technology, flexible seating, and a maker space with STEAM resources. I’d fund teacher professional development on interdisciplinary and personalized learning strategies. Field trips, guest speakers, and artist-in-residence programs would enrich student experiences. A student mini-grant program would support creative projects.
