Learn MoreAt 17 I realized I wanted to go into teaching, not just teaching but working with families as well. I realized at a young age that I wanted to be an advocate for children with disabilities and I wanted to teach them and give them everything I possibly could in order to help them be successful in life.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceEvery day! Every day is memorable for me and my students who have so many different disabilities. School is challenging for my students I absolutely love seeing their faces every day as they work on daily life skills, never giving up, and always coming back.
What would you do with the $25,000?The money would help pay for the medical bills my children have and the medical bills I have since receiving a brain injury from COVID. I used my extra money to fight back and get back to teaching and living after COVID gave me a brain injury.
