I grew up on an organic farm in North Dakota & I wanted a path out of agriculture because I didn’t see myself living on the family farm. During my high school years my dad had a few strokes & heart attacks & I became interested in helping people’s lives improve through special education. I fell in love with my course work in college & collaborating with other special education professionals is my favorite part of my job.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have worked with kids between the ages of 3-19 for over 20 years. When I’m able to sit across the table from parents and show them data on the progress their child has made, regardless of their disability, I am proud, excited & satisfied with my career in special education.
What would you do with the $25,000?I have helped my own son become a teacher & I would pay off student loans with the $25,000. Please choose me & my family for this tremendous blessing & honor!!
