Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when a student told me their adoptive step parent had to be taken off life support after suffering a heart attack at their kitchen table at dinner. This student was faced with numerous obstacles but worked so hard for me. The extended family support, her resilience, and my determination helped her thrive and conquer curriculum while supporting her emotionally. What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to do much needed home improvements that I have not been able to afford to do as a single mom of 23 years. I finished helping my daughter pay for college and living in the Delta Gamma sorority house with her undergrad degree in behavioral neuroscience. I also helped my son pay for his wedding and carry them both on my medical insurance. I’m very frugal, but it would be a relief knowing I could replace my roof, gutters, and original kitchen cabinets before I retire.
