I became a teacher for special education students originally. I love working with this population. I piloted one of the first all inclusion programs for the district while working in Kent Washington. My interest has always been to support ALL learners and find ways to help them learn best. Giving back to the community is another goal.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moment was fundraising with our community to take my class to Yosemite National Park for science camp. We did this successfully and. this tradition continued for several years. My former students remember this to this day. There we completed service work as well.
What would you do with the $25,000?If we had 25,000 dollars, I would use the money to stock our STEAM room with engineering and robotics materials. Our student s would be able to compete with other schools in our area.
