My childhood. I was allowed to (& encouraged to) pretend play & be creative. I was taught to help & how to problem solve. I was taught to be respectful. I have nothing but great memories of my childhood & it is my wish to offer the same experience to any child in my class, because every child deserves a memorable childhood!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceIt is difficult to pick just one, but if I had to I would say it was when a class of mine was able to meet my 17 year old pug, Rascal. During our Pet theme, each child was able to take a stuffed animal “Rascal” home. They were to journal their adventures with him & report back the next day. They were so excited to meet “the real Rascal!” I gifted each of them their own stuffed animal Rascals & when they come to visit or pick up their younger siblings, they still ask about him!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money as a down payment to purchase my first house. It is difficult to make ends meet on a teacher’s salary, let alone save extra money for a down payment.
