Teaching is my second career and switching was the best thing I have ever done, besides having my own three children. High school was not an easy time for me and I wanted to be able to be a positive influence on kids during a time in their lives when there are so many changes.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceGoing into labor in school during a foods lab and my observation! The kids were so sweet during my pregnancy with my youngest. They even threw me a little shower.
What would you do with the $25,000?Take my hard working family on a little trip. Put some aside for my kids in college. The rest I would use to further my own education. Perhaps go back to get my doctorate? I would love to challenge myself more.
